We operate across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australasia, distributing through three main channels; retail, which includes e-commerce, wholesale and licencing.

Retail

We operate stores and concessions across the UK, Europe, North America, Africa and Asia, and localised e-commerce sites for the UK, France, Germany, US, Canada and Australia. We also have e-commerce businesses with some of our concession partners.

Wholesale

We operate a wholesale business in the UK serving countries across the world, primarily in the UK and Europe, as well as supplying products to stores operated by our territorial licence partners. In addition, we operate a wholesale business in North America serving the US and Canada.

Licence Income

We operate both territorial and product licences. Our territorial licences cover specific countries or regions in Asia, Australasia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Central America, where our partners operate licensed retail stores and, in some territories, wholesale operations. Our product licences include Bedding; Childrenswear; Eyewear; Footwear; Fragrance and Skinwear; Gifting and Stationery; Jewellery; Lingerie and Sleepwear; Luggage; Neckwear; Rugs; Suiting; Technical Accessories; Tiles; and Watches.

Key Performance Indicators

We review the on-going performance of the business using key performance indicators for each of our distribution channels. Performance measures for our retail business include total sales, average and closing square foot, sales per square foot and gross retail margins. Wholesale performance measures include total sales and gross wholesale margins, and licence income is measured through year on year revenue growth.
